Three AI features sitting in your Tekmatix account that you have probably never opened

3 AI features sitting in your Tekmatix account that you have probably never opened

Most Tekmatix accounts have never switched on AI Studio, Ask AI or the managed AI agents. Not because they are not useful, but because nobody goes looking through their settings on a quiet Tuesday.

Now that these tools have moved onto usage pricing, it is worth actually knowing what they do before you decide whether they are worth anything to you. Here is the plain-English version.

Ask AI

Ask AI is the one that answers questions about your own account.

Instead of digging through reports to work out which campaign brought in the most leads last month, or scrolling a contact record to remember what happened with someone, you ask. It reads what is in front of it and answers in normal language.

Where it earns its keep: the five-minute lookups that happen twenty times a day. "What did we last talk to this contact about?" "Which of my funnels converted best in July?" "Summarise this conversation thread." None of those are hard questions. They are just slow ones.

What it costs: on pay-per-use, AI Studio and Ask AI are billed at USD $3.165 per 1,000,000 tokens. Usage is included on the AI Employee Growth plan, and Super includes 3x that usage.

Tokens are a hard unit to picture, which is fair enough. The practical version: light daily use is a small number of dollars a month, not a scary one. Watch it in Settings > Billings for your first fortnight and you will know your real number.

AI Studio

AI Studio is where you build the AI into your own processes rather than using it as a chat window.

Think of it as the workshop. You set up how the AI should behave for a specific job in your business, using your own context and your own tone, and then that job runs the way you defined it rather than the way a generic model would guess.

Where it earns its keep: anything you write repeatedly with small variations. Follow-up sequences, proposal sections, onboarding responses, content repurposing. If you have ever thought "I write a version of this email four times a week", that is an AI Studio job.

What it costs: the same $3.165 per 1,000,000 tokens on pay-per-use, included on Growth, 3x on Super.

Managed AI agents

This is the one people underestimate.

Rather than you prompting the AI each time, an agent handles a defined job on its own: responding to inbound conversations, following up on leads, answering the questions you get asked constantly, handling reviews.

Inside Tekmatix this shows up across a few tools:

  • Conversation AI replies to inbound messages in your voice. USD $0.03 per message on pay-per-use. Growth includes 1,000 agent responses a month, Super is unlimited.

  • Voice AI handles inbound and outbound calls, including a web widget. Voice cost plus token cost on pay-per-use. Growth includes 100 AI agent minutes a month, Super is unlimited.

  • Reviews AI writes responses to your reviews. USD $0.15 per review on pay-per-use, unlimited on both Growth and Super.

  • Content AI produces written content and images. USD $0.135 per 1,000 words and $0.09 per image on pay-per-use, unlimited on Growth and Super.

Where it earns its keep: speed to lead, and out-of-hours. An agent that answers an enquiry at 11pm on a Saturday is not competing with you at your best. It is competing with nobody, which is what a lead currently gets at 11pm on a Saturday.

The honest caveat

None of these tools fix a process that is broken. An AI agent following up on leads you have no offer for will do a very efficient job of nothing.

Where they work is on the things you already do well but do not have the hours to do consistently. That is the test: is this a job I know is worth doing that I keep not getting to?

Where to start

Pick one. Genuinely, one.

The most common way people waste money in the first month is switching on five AI tools at once, using none of them properly, and concluding the whole thing was expensive. Turn on the single tool that maps to your biggest time drain, run it for two weeks, and check your actual spend in Settings > Billings.

Then decide whether the second one is worth it.

Full pricing for every feature, including the country-by-country call and SMS rates, is at tekmatix.com/rebilling.
